Hello, I'm Linnae

I'm an integral psychotherapist and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (CA #139346) working with adults and couples across California. People often come to me carrying things that have been heavy for a long time: old trauma, persistent anxiety, an inner critic that never quiets, or a psychedelic experience that needs integrating. My work is to offer a space safe enough that your own answers can emerge.

My Story

My path to psychotherapy ran through psychedelic research and harm reduction. After earning my B.A. in Biological Psychology from New College of Florida, I joined MAPS — the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies — serving as Clinical Research Assistant and Harm Reduction Coordinator, and then as Director of Harm Reduction. I founded and led the Zendo Project, MAPS' psychedelic peer-support initiative, training volunteers and supporting people through difficult experiences at events around the world, and served on its board as it grew before passing it into new hands.

I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), where my training wove together transpersonal psychotherapy, depth psychology, existential-humanistic perspectives, and perennial philosophy. Today, as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I bring it all together in an integral practice: Internal Family Systems at the foundation, with rare depth in psychedelic preparation and integration.

My practice is guided by curiosity and presence rather than technique. I believe each person contains an inner healer that, with enough safety and support, is able to take a greater role in life and move us toward wholeness.
