Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Therapy
Expanded states of consciousness can open doors, and what matters most is what happens before you walk through one and after you come back. I provide therapy before and after psychedelic experiences: preparation to clarify intention and build inner resources, and integration to help you make meaning of what happened and weave it into daily life. I do not provide or administer psychedelic substances, and this work is harm-reduction-informed, meeting you where you are without judgment.
Few therapists come to this work with deeper roots. I founded the Zendo Project and served as MAPS' Director of Harm Reduction, supporting people through some of the most intense psychedelic experiences, before passing the project into new hands to focus on psychedelic research and therapy. My clinical training at the California Institute of Integral Studies (transpersonal, depth-oriented, and IFS-based) is unusually well suited to non-ordinary states. In preparation, we map your inner landscape before an experience; in integration, we hold the window open afterward, when old patterns are loose, insights are vivid, and lasting change is most possible. Difficult or destabilizing experiences deserve integration most of all.
Sessions are online across California. If you're preparing for an upcoming experience or sitting with one that needs unpacking, start with a free 20-minute conversation.
